Kangaroos
The Kangaroos have dominated international Rugby League since their inception in 1908. Australia have won nine out of the thirteen World Cup tournaments played so far and are consistently ranked first in the RLIF world rankings. Boosting some of the game’s finest players, many favoured the Kangaroos to win their tenth World Cup at home in 2008 in a canter. Australia however were upstaged by the Kiwis in front of over 50,000 fans at Suncorp Stadium in the final, to partially end their international dominance.
